It all started when…

Dr. Wade McLeod opened the first veterinary clinic in Round Rock, Texas over 47 years ago, which would come to be known as McLeod Animal Clinic. McLeod Animal Clinic was beloved for its kind, quality, yet budget friendly services it provided to its community for nearly a half century. After years of caring for Round Rock’s pets, Dr. McLeod bid farewell as he made his way into retirement. This decision would come after meeting Dr. Lindsay Riddick, a young, like-minded vet Dr. McLeod chose to carry on his important legacy.

Both doctors would agree on their instant kinship, almost as if something greater than themselves had led them to one another. After years of meeting with several prospective buyers, Dr. McLeod felt confident in his decision to pass his well-loved torch to Dr. Riddick.

From day one, Dr. Riddick has worked hard in creating a place where all feel welcomed and where pets feel safe. Most of our clients will tell you (and we’re confident their pets would agree) that Dr. Riddick has a natural ability when interacting with animals. Animals find themselves easily trusting her.
